The mission of Generation JP2 is to enrich the lives of Catholic young adults (ages 19-39) in the greater Lewiston/Auburn area through social, educational, and spiritual activities, while developing relationships and promoting community involvement. Ongoing event: Women's Discussion Group. Join young adult women, married and single, for discussion and prayer as we reflect on our vocations as women. As of Feb., we are reading Mulieris Dignitatem and then will start on Edith Stein's essays. We meet on Sunday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 twice a month in Lewiston, and some of us gather beforehand for a potluck dinner. For more info, please email Cathy at genjp2ofmaine@gmail.com.
Ultimate Frisbee: We will again be playing ultimate frisbee Thursday evenings throughout the summer, from 6 to dark, at Garcelon Field, Central Avenue, Bates College, Lewiston. (If we aren't there, look for us at the baseball field across the street.)
All are welcome to join us, teenage and up. We toss the disc and then get a pickup game going by 6:30. Our first game will be Thursday May 20. We play unless it's pouring. Feel free to invite your friends.
